This policy explains what personal data Modern Venture Shelter LLC ("EvolveTech", "we") collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website and our products, including Talabak and the Sales & Collections Hub. We follow the Personal Data Protection Law of the Sultanate of Oman (Royal Decree 6/2022) and its executive regulations.

This website

• The website does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics, and the fonts are served from our own server.
• Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) to run and protect the site. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.
• If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive the details you send (for example your name, number and message) and use them only to answer you.

Our products

When a business uses our products, we process data on its behalf and on our own behalf:

• Account data: names, email addresses, phone numbers and sign-in records of the people who use the system, including security information such as two-step verification and recognised devices.
• Business customer data: names, phone numbers, quotes, invoices, payments and messages that a business enters or receives. For this data the business is responsible for having a lawful basis, and we process it on its instructions.
• WhatsApp messages: messages sent and received through the official WhatsApp Business Platform of Meta Platforms. Message content and phone numbers pass through Meta's systems to be delivered.
• Billing data: invoices and bank transfer details for subscriptions. We do not collect card numbers and do not use a payment gateway.

Why we use the data

• To provide the products and services you or your business asked for.
• To send invoices, payment reminders and service messages, including on WhatsApp, to people who have agreed to receive them.
• To keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
• To meet legal duties, such as keeping invoices for the period required by Omani tax law.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

WhatsApp messages and consent

We send invoices and reminders on WhatsApp only to people who have agreed to receive them, for example in a signed subscription agreement. You can stop these messages at any time by replying STOP or إيقاف, or by contacting us. Invoices will then be sent another way.

Who we share data with

• Meta Platforms, to deliver WhatsApp messages.
• Our hosting and cloud providers, which store the data on our behalf under contract.
• An email service, when the product sends security emails such as password resets.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside Oman. When that happens we take the steps required by Omani law to protect it.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Account and customer data is kept while the service is active and deleted or anonymised after it ends, except invoices and accounting records, which are kept for the period required by law.

Security

We use encrypted connections, encrypted storage for sensitive credentials, separation of each business's data, two-step verification for administrators, and audit logs of important actions.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to processing. See our data deletion page for how to send a request. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the competent authority in Oman.

Children

Our products are for businesses and are not directed at children under 18.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
